Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. Even though he had always had an interest in the world of music however, despite his love for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and physiotherapist. He worked in a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions in The X Factor. The reason for this was the band split up. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join a future band that would be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were created in the year 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the best contenders for the competition. The band was in the third position after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and were the winners. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
